This all wood, mostly quarter/rift-sawn oak, free standing guitar display cabinet was designed to protect ones special guitar. The GUARDIAN guitar display cabinet can serve as a focal point in the home, corporate entryway, foyer, board room, or museum. The Guardian offers the highest level of guitar preservation by incorporating 98% ultra violet light (UV) filtering acrylic windows in the design.These panels prevent guitar finish and autograph degradation from harmful rays emitted by the sun and some interior lighting. The quarter/rift sawn wood stile and rails add stability to the design. This guitar display cabinet is attached to a gorgeous frame and panel stand that can be personalized with ones initials, name, corporate logo, or a design. A hand-cut dovetailed drawer can be substituted for the frame and panel front to store sheet music, tab books, straps, or cleaning supplies. An automatic humidifier can be installed in the stand or cabinet as an option. A digital hygrometer/temperature gauge is provided to monitor the sealed inside environment of the Guardian guitar display cabinet. Here we have one of the most elegant guitar display cases around. This design looks great in the living room, den or entryway. A wall case like this takes up no precious floor space and only protrudes from the wall about 7 inches.
OK so what is it that makes these cases so special and more desirable than others? The short answer is Quality Craftsmanship. We use solid wood to build these cases. The cases are assembled with dovetails (ancient time proven joinery method) and use mortise and tenon, half lap, and stick/cope joints in the face frames and door assembly process. NO SCREWS, STAPLES or NAILS!! The door is made to slightly recess into the cabinet face frame virtually eliminating dust penetration. Museum quality 98% Ultra Violet filtering windows are used in the doors to prevent degradation of the guitar finish, or treasured autograph (nearly 3 times the cost of other Acrylic panels). The back panel is covered with Upholstery grade crushed velvet which is reinforced with a cotton webbing. The back panel is 3/8 inch thick all wood, 9 ply baltic birch panel, recessed into the cabinet and screwed into the case from the rear which allows flush mounting to the wall. Guitar security is insured by the use of String Swing hangers in vertical displays, and the Guitar Sling or custom built brackets for any horizontal mounting purposes. The arch top door takes 3 extra steps to produce and requires nearly a third more wood than a rectangular door. The beautiful dovetailed bottom panel is trimmed with a classical profile, and the top is delicately crafted with crown molding and has a full cap with inverted classical edging. The top removes for shipping eliminating an oversize delivery costs. Finally, each cabinet is meticulously hand sanded and given a hand rubbed finishing regimen. Just prior to shipment the Sanctuary is signed by the craftsman.
The Sanctuary is made from oak as standard, but is available in Maple, Cherry, Walnut and exotic woods. The cost will vary with market conditions. Here are the features:

Either way, this case is finely crafted from solid oak with a fresh new look. Our crystal clear cast acrylic windows will not shatter and offer UV filtering protection. We build these one at a time using time proven mortise/ tenon and biscuit joinery. No screws or nails are used in the frame assembly. We can make these in 9 stain colors, and give you the choice of red, black, or dark burgundy as a background color. We can install other colors and a mirrored back for extra if you prefer.
